BAAS Dragons :: Mission Statement

Welcome to our Building Fund!

We are very excited to begin our journey to build a new sports community center. We hope that you all will join us on our quest.

Our main annual fundraiser, " The Challenge " was held on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at City College of San Francisco. We had some very fine exhibition games featuring high school, college and adult all-starts, as well as some great basketball by our youngest Dragons! Our Celebrity Game featured the ever-popular Bubba Paris, along with 49er teammates JJ Stokes and Dana Mclemore. A very big thank you to our Challenge Planning Committee and all the volunteers who came out and worked the event. The winners of the cash raffle were drawn. Check back soon for the winners of our incentive prizes for the raffle ticket sales.

We are looking for volunteers to help with next year's Challenge or to join the Building Fund Committee. There's a lot of work ahead of us before we can realize our dream of a new sports center -- you can be part of the action and help us reach our goal. Contact any Board member or Building Fund member to find out how you can help.

The winner of our special Tournament Drawing on May 6, 2010 was Greg Hiura, who won a framed Monta Ellis autographed Warriors jersey. Congratulations, Greg!
